COVID-19 Pandemic
COVID-19 Update - 9th April 2020
“Business As Usual” AALI Operations During COVID-19 Pandemic
From the initial outset of the COVID-19 pandemic we have put into place systems to ensure that as a valued customer of ours, there are absolutely no interruptions or delays to the enrolment into a course, or the services that we provide to you.
We are fully operational with the entire AALI Team working remotely throughout Australia, who are ready to answer your enquiries or questions, complete the enrolment into a course online, and provide guidance and support whilst you complete your nationally recognised qualification with us.
Practical Assessment Information and Completion
As you complete each unit, practical assessment activities must be completed by you to ensure that you have the opportunity to demonstrate the required skills and performance for unit/s you are completing in accordance with the national standards.
For some of these activities you may be required to work and interact with others in a practical application and/or setting.
There are 2 Options available to achieve this:
Option 1
You have the opportunity to demonstrate that you have completed the practical skills and performance required by the verification and confirmation of this by a suitable Third Party Referee (e.g. Recent or Current Manager or Supervisor).
Should this be the case, please advise your dedicated AALI Trainer/Assessor who will be able to provide you with guidance of how this can be achieved, and the resources for your suitable Third Party Referee to complete.
Option 2
If you do not have access to a suitable Third Party Referee, do not be concerned.
In this instance you are able to complete the required skills and performance within simulated assessment activities.
You may be required to work and interact with others in simulated assessment activities. To ensure you are safe and that you abide by the social distancing protocols as advised by the Department of Health, we recommend when completing these simulated assessment activities that you use online platforms for example Face Time, Skype or Zoom, for the provision of recorded evidence of the completion of these simulated assessment activities.
Should this be the case, please advise your dedicated AALI Trainer/Assessor who will provide you with the simulated assessment activities to complete, together with information about the evidence you are required to provide, to demonstrate the completion of the practical requirements for the unit/s you are completing.
