- You have NO existing skills, knowledge and experience in Training and Assessment Environments or,
- You have completed the previous version of this qualification TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and would like the additional support from your AALI Trainer and Assessor over the phone, and or via ZOOM
- You prefer to have face to face contact with your AALI Trainer and Assessor online and would like the additional training support
- You want to choose whether your support is via Zoom or over the phone
- You want to learn as much as possible through guided interactive tutorials
- You are interested in learning about the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and in particular, the skills and knowledge to become a qualified trainer and assessor to gain employment into the training and assessment industry
- You are able to demonstrate vocational competency in your proposed teaching and assessing area and are exploring a new vocational career. Vocational competency is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification
- You may be a new entrant to an organisation who have no prior or limited experience in training and assessment, and are exploring a new vocational career
- You may have broad industry knowledge and experience although have no prior, or limited experience in training and assessment, and are exploring a new vocational career
- You may be experienced although prefer to have the additional training support.

Study Pathways
The further study pathways available to learners who undertake this qualification include:After achieving TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, candidates may undertake a Diploma of Training and Assessment or may choose to undertake a Vocational Graduate Certificate in Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice.
Employment Pathways
Examples of indicative job roles for candidates seeking entry based upon their vocational experience include:
- Enterprise trainer

Support provided
- Support is provided by email, phone and/or Zoom (Your Choice).
- Most emails are replied to within 24 hours, although please allow up to 1 - 5 business days, to take into consideration weekends, and any public holidays.
- All phone support is geared towards your needs.
- As part of this course enrolment package, you will have access to 18 hours of phone and/or ZOOM support available to you with your AALI Trainer and Assessor, through to your course completion.
- You are able to access this support in 30 min, or 1 hour training sessions when you need it, by booking in this time with your AALI Trainer and Assessor and letting them know what you would like to focus on, and we will provide guidance and support according to your needs. You can bank up these hours as well, although any time not used within your course enrolment period is not transferable or refundable.
- You are able to access additional training and support above these hours if required. (Further fees apply.)
